Delete account & data request
You can permanently delete your Daily Cash Entry account and its data at any time — from inside the app, or by emailing us. This page explains the steps, what is deleted, and what we must keep and for how long.
The fastest way. This permanently and irreversibly deletes your account and all associated data.
Sign in on your Android device.
Open the profile screen from the “More” tab.
Scroll to the account section and choose Delete account.
Confirm the warning. Your account and data are deleted right away and cannot be recovered.
If you cannot access the app, we will delete your account for you.
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
Deletion is permanent. Export any reports or PDFs you want to keep (Reports → Export) before you delete.
A small amount of data is retained only where the law requires or to secure the service.
Retained only where Indian tax / accounting law requires (typically up to 8 years). These are financial-compliance records, not usable to sign in.
Deleted data is removed from active systems immediately and purged from rolling backups within 90 days.
Security and diagnostic logs that no longer identify you may be retained for fraud-prevention and service integrity.
You don’t have to delete your whole account to remove data.
Inside the app you can delete individual records at any time — transactions, parties, products, notes, reminders and files — and move firms to Trash. To have specific data removed for you, email dailycashentry@gmail.com describing what you’d like deleted.
